Welcome to The March Society

The March Society is March's civic society involved in conserving and promoting all that is best in March and district.

We have monthly meetings where speakers talk on local topics concerned with the past present and future of March and the surrounding area.  Our meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at March Library at 7.00pm   Entrance is £3.00 for non-members and £2.00 for members. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided.  If you would like to join the society, the membership fee is £5 per year or £8 for two people living at the same address

At the moment all of our planned events are postponed because of the virus but we look forward to starting up again in the not too distant future, following government advice.  We are however continuing our scrutiny of planning applications and being aware of the heritage of March both the natural and built environment.

As members of Civic Voice we are following the online conversations on Heritage Action Zones. All events are listed on the Civic Voice website.  Future HAZ webinars can be accessed via: http://www.civicvoice.org.uk/campaigns/save-our-high-streets/
